Hello and Welcome to The Niche Collective! We are the Co-Founders Yolanda, Kristen, and Jessica, and we wanted to give you a little insight on how The Niche Collective was formed. All three of us worked together doing Disney based Social Media Photography for a couple of different blogs. What does this mean? The last year we have spent 5 days a week, 8 hours a day in the Disney Parks. Basically between the three of us we have spent over 6,240 hours in the parks….and we noticed something. The lack of very specific merchandise! We’re talking the stuff for theme park fanatics; the deep cut characters you would have to ride something 10+ times to remember, or a forgotten film moment. That is where we come in! 

The three of us decided to get together and offer the very best in accessories we just have not been able to find yet. Disco girl from Spaceship Earth, Trolls from Maelstrom, The Foot dangling Pirate from Pirates of the Caribbean, and of course the Wonky-Eyed Hippo from It's a Small World. It’s memories like reminiscing on yelling “Back back over the falls’ and pointing out the inebriated hippo eye that brought us here.

We are so excited to offer you the very best accessories in niche, nostalgic, and rare characters and moments from Disney/ Universal Parks and Film, and all the beloved fandoms in between.

Yolanda did not go to Disney much as a child, but that did not stop her from becoming Disney obsessed pretty early on. From The Disney College Program to Disney social media photography; Yolanda has a wealth of information about the Disney Parks and Resorts and is always down for a trip to the parks! Self proclaimed EPCOT aficionado, Yolanda is also a lover of all things spooky, hates big rides, and is a proud Hufflepuff. Yolanda has spent time at Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and Disneyland Paris with Tokyo Disney being added for her honeymoon in 2024. When Yolanda is not collaborating with Kristen and Jessie for The Niche Collective, you can find her working on funny videos with her Fiance or hanging out with her mom and sister!  

Kristen

Co-Owner & Spreadsheet Queen

Kristen has been coming to Walt Disney World since 1984 and in 2021 she finally made the move to Orlando, Florida. She's visited Disneyland in Anaheim, California and Disneyland Paris. She has a deep love of all things Epcot and her favorite character is Figment. She's super proud of her Minnie Ear collection - currently boasting over 200 pairs of ears. When she's not managing the shop or approving artwork for The Niche Collective, you can find her either in the school pick up line or with her husband and 2 kids in a Disney Park. Jessie

Co-Owner & Ray of Social Sunshine

Jessie is a born and raised, 3rd generation Floridian! Growing up in South Florida, Disney was always a go to vacation. Moving to Orlando in 2018 was the first major step to being close to the place she loved most, Walt Disney World. Some of her favorite characters are Baymax, Goofy, and Tinker Bell, with a love for all things Disney it’s hard to pick just one. Jessie is like a ray of sunshine! Hello! My name is Monroe. I grew up in rural South Dakota with my family until 2018 when we all moved to South Florida. I am a self taught freelance artist who specializes in cute/cartoon drawings and design. I also help care for my disabled sisters with my mom. We love taking family trips and enjoy the Disney Parks!

Molly moved to Orlando to follow her true love - Disney! After making magic as a cast member for several years at Walt Disney World, she now spends her days as a loyal annual passholder and visits every chance she gets. Combining her love of Disney and passion for art makes her designs practically perfect in every way!
